CRO & Marketing Analytics Specialist
The Influence Agency is a growing marketing agency that specializes in Influencer Marketing, Social Media Management, Content Strategy & Development, SEO, Paid Media, Web Design & Development, and much more!
We’re looking for a Conversion Rate Optimization & Marketing Analytics Specialist who’s passionate about understanding how people interact with digital experiences and driving measurable improvements in performance. You’ll play a critical role in optimizing the customer journey across websites and campaigns, ensuring that every interaction moves users closer to conversion or lead generation.
You’ll work closely with our CRO, Paid Media, and Web teams to analyze user behaviour, identify drop-off points, and test improvements that drive better engagement and results. With a strong foundation in digital tracking (GTM, GA4) and a keen understanding of funnel strategy, segmentation, and UX best practices, you’ll help turn data into actionable growth insights.
We’re working in a hybrid model! We’re looking for someone who is located in or around the GTA with the ability to travel to our West End location.

Abilities & Skills
- Strong understanding of conversion rate optimization (CRO) principles and A/B testing methodologies
- Proficient in Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, and data visualization (e.g., Looker Studio, Agency Analytics, etc.)
- Deep understanding of funnel performance, segmentation, and audience journey mapping
- Ability to analyze and synthesize data into actionable UX and content recommendations
- Strong grasp of landing page optimization, form UX, and conversion copy principles
- Comfort with heat mapping tools, session recording, and on-site surveys (e.g., Hotjar, Crazy Egg)
- Excellent communication skills - can explain test hypotheses, results, and insights clearly to both technical and creative teams
- Self-motivated, curious, and driven to continually improve performance
Nice-to-have
- Experience using A/B testing tools (e.g., Google Optimize, VWO, Optimizely, Crazy Egg)
- Experience with CRMs and 1st party data management systems such as Hubspot and Salesforce
- Knowledge of email platforms (Klaviyo, HubSpot, Mailchimp, etc.) and CRM integrations
- Experience with call tracking software such as CallRail and Call Tracking Metrics
- Understanding of UX design principles and accessibility
- Knowledge of SEO and page speed optimization as they relate to conversion performance
- Basic HTML/CSS/JavaScript knowledge for light QA or troubleshooting
Experience
- 2-4+ years of experience in CRO, digital analytics, or website optimization
- Hands-on experience implementing and testing GTM/GA4 tracking setups
- Proven track record of driving measurable improvements in conversion rates or lead generation
- Familiarity with multi-channel digital strategies (Paid Media, Email, Social, etc.)
- Experience in an agency environment or managing multiple client data sets.
Key Responsibilities

Funnel Mapping & Optimization
- Analyze user behaviour and conversion funnels to identify friction points, drop-offs, and growth opportunities
- Collaborate with designers, developers, and strategists to enhance landing pages, forms, and overall conversion flows
- Create and maintain customer journey maps to visualize and improve the end-to-end user experience
- Leverage analytics and heatmapping tools to uncover actionable insights that drive optimization
CRO Testing & Experimentation
- Develop hypotheses and execute A/B or multivariate tests with clear success metrics and valid sample sizing for website and email campaigns
- Report on test outcomes, extract insights, and iterate on winning strategies to continuously improve conversion rates
Tracking & Measurement
- Implement and maintain event tracking using Google Tag Manager (GTM), GA4, and Meta Pixel
- Ensure accurate, consistent data collection and conversion tracking across client properties
- Conduct QA and troubleshooting to verify proper data flow between platforms
- Partner with internal teams to align business goals with measurable KPIs and maintain clear tracking documentation
- Utilize call tracking software such as CallRail and Call Tracking Metrics to capture and analyze inbound lead performance
- Leverage CRM and first-party data management systems (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) to integrate conversion data and enhance customer journey tracking
Email & CRM Performance Analysis
- Partner with the Email Marketing team to design segmentation strategies and personalized journeys aligned with user behaviour
- Analyze performance data to optimize open, click-through, and conversion rates
- Integrate tracking and testing into email campaigns to measure impact on leads and customer lifetime value
- Align email strategies with broader website and paid media initiatives for cross-channel optimization
Strategy & Reporting
- Translate findings into actionable recommendations and present insights to clients and internal teams
- Develop optimization roadmaps and test plans that prioritize high-impact opportunities
- Document and share learnings to refine internal best practices
