Digital Marketing Intern
The Influence Agency is a growing marketing agency that specializes in Influencer Marketing, Community Management, Content Strategy & Development, SEO, Paid Media, Web Design & Development, and much more!
We are currently on the lookout for post-secondary students to join our talented team for the Winter 2026 semester. At this placement, you’ll collaborate with a designated department based on your interests and skill set, gaining hands-on experience in digital marketing while contributing to real projects in a collaborative agency environment. Areas of opportunity include Influencer Marketing, Social Media, SEO, Paid Media, and more.

This is a Co-op opportunity for course credit. We work in a hybrid environment, from our west-end Toronto office three days a week. Our goal is to bring on a student whose schedule allows them to work in person on team-office days and remote two days a week, enabling the best learning experience possible.

Qualifications & Abilities
- Currently in school at a College or University in a Marketing, Advertising, Journalism, PR, Communications or other related program
 - A love and passion for all things marketing, both creative and analytical
 - Experience managing in a customer service or sales role (an asset)
 - Experience with Excel and/or the Google Suite
 - Strong written and verbal communication skills
 - Preliminary knowledge of digital marketing platforms, tools, or trends is a bonus
 
Key Responsibilities
The ebbs and flows of work at an agency may require you to pitch in on a variety of projects in different ways. The right candidate will embrace the diversity of this environment, and view it as an opportunity to learn and try new things. Depending on your placement, responsibilities may include:
- Support Program Management - Support team members in tasks that pertain to the execution of their clients' campaigns.
 - Research and Ideation - Conduct research on industry trends, competitors, and audience preferences to help inform strategies and marketing choices.
 - Reporting and Analytics - Track, pull and analyze performance metrics for influencer marketing campaigns and other marketing channels, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.
 - Assist in Report Building - Pull the correct data to implement into reporting decks, assisting team members in crafting compelling and accurate stories with data.
 
For an idea of department specific tasks:
- Influencer Marketing: Assist in sourcing and vetting influencers, supporting campaign execution, reporting on performance, and building client-facing reports.
 - SEO: Support with keyword research, on-page optimization, SEO audits, competitor analysis, and performance monitoring.
 - Paid Media: Assist with campaign setup, keyword research, ad copy development, audience targeting, and performance reporting.
 - Social Media: Support with scheduling and publishing content, community management, content planning, basic design/video editing, and reporting.
