Head of Marketing & Growth
Peak Sales Recruiting, a leading executive search firm specializing exclusively in sales recruitment across North America, is looking for a Head of Marketing & Growth to build and lead its marketing function from the ground up. 
This is a high-impact, fully remote role for a strategic yet hands-on marketing leader who thrives in fast-paced, growth-driven environments. With ambitious business growth goals on the horizon, you’ll have the autonomy to shape the company’s marketing vision, optimize performance, and scale demand generation and Go to Market efforts with a healthy SEM budget and executive input.

About the Role
As the Head of Marketing & Growth, you’ll define and lead Peak’s marketing strategy to drive measurable business growth. This is a foundational role where you’ll audit existing efforts, develop a clear go-to-market plan, and expand marketing capabilities across paid media, content, and branding.
You’ll report directly to the CEO and collaborate closely with senior leadership to elevate both client acquisition and candidate attraction efforts.
Build and Execute Marketing Strategy
- Audit existing marketing efforts, identify quick wins, and create a comprehensive plan for scaling lead generation and brand visibility. Define the target market, audience segments, and the best channels to reach them.
 
Lead Performance Marketing Strategy (SEM, SEO, Social)
- Oversee paid campaigns across Google, Bing, and Microsoft Ads (~$75K/month), optimizing for ROI and efficiency. Expand into LinkedIn and Meta advertising as part of a broader social strategy.
 
Strengthen Brand and Content Presence
- Own Peak’s brand strategy, ensuring consistent, engaging content across LinkedIn, the company website, and other digital platforms. Elevate both B2B client marketing and candidate marketing to position Peak as the authority in sales recruitment.
 
Build and Manage a Marketing Function
- Lead and mentor a Marketing Coordinator, while managing external contractors and agencies. Over time, develop the structure for a scalable internal marketing team.
 
Optimize Tools and Analytics
- Leverage Salesforce and Google Analytics to improve reporting, track ROI, and inform decision-making. Explore new tools and integrations to streamline campaigns and measure success effectively.
 
Collaborate Cross-Functionally
- Work closely with leadership, sales, and delivery teams to align marketing strategy with business goals and support go-to-market initiatives.

Abilities & Skills
- Proven ability to develop and execute full-funnel marketing strategies for B2B or professional services
 - Expertise in SEM, SEO, and paid social (Google, Microsoft Ads; LinkedIn; Meta)
 - Skilled in content strategy, branding, and candidate/client marketing
 - Strong understanding of lead generation, reporting, and ROI optimization
 - Experience with Salesforce (preferred), Google Analytics, and tools like Sprout Social, Adobe Experience Manager, and Active Campaign
 - Comfortable managing contractors and building small, agile teams
 - Adept at interpreting data and making smart decisions on ad spend (~$75K/month, growing)
 
Experience
- 6–10 years of progressive marketing experience, ideally in recruitment, B2B services, or another high-growth environment
 - Demonstrated success leading high-budget SEM campaigns and digital growth initiatives
 - Experience building marketing infrastructure and reporting systems from scratch
 
Excellent to Have
- U.S. market experience (90% of Peak’s business is U.S.-based)
 - Experience managing six-figure marketing budgets
 - Familiarity with HubSpot or marketing automation platforms
 - Exposure to EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) frameworks
