Digital Marketing Intern - Social Media
The Influence Agency is a growing marketing agency that specializes in Influencer Marketing, Community Management, Content Strategy & Development, SEO, Paid Media, Web Design & Development, and much more!
We are currently on the lookout for a Spring Intern to join our talented Social Media Team. At this placement, you’ll collaborate with our Social Team to gain hands-on experience in digital marketing, learning the fundamentals of organic content development, dissemination, and performance while contributing to real projects in a collaborative agency environment.
This is an exciting position at a fast-moving agency aimed at always delivering best-in-class marketing services, on the cutting edge. If you’re a budding marketer with a knack for catching social media trends, an ability to put a creative spin on ideas, and a natural ability to stay organized while working on multiple projects, we want to hear from you!
This is a part-time opportunity done for course credit. We work in a hybrid environment, working from our west-end office two days a week (Tuesday & Wednesday). Our goal is to bring on a student whose schedule allows them to work in person these two days a week, enabling the best learning experience possible.

Qualifications & Abilities
- Currently in school at a College or University in a Marketing, Advertising, Journalism, PR, Communications or other related program.
- A love and passion for social media, branding, content creation, and storytelling.
- Experience managing social media accounts and generating engaging content for organic audiences.
- Experience with Excel and/or the Google Suite.
- Understands the components involved in an internal or client request and can communicate to stakeholders upon completion.
Key Responsibilities
The ebbs and flows of work at an agency may require you to pitch in on a variety of projects in different ways. The right candidate will embrace the diversity of this environment, and view it as an opportunity to learn and try new things.
- Social Media Management - Assist in scheduling and publishing content across social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter).
- Community Management - Engage with the online community by responding to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and professional manner.
- Research and Ideation - Conduct research on industry trends, competitors, and audience preferences to help inform content strategies.
- Content Creation - Support content creation, including writing captions, selecting images, and assisting with basic graphic design or video editing.
- Reporting and Analytics - Track and analyze social media performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.
- Content Planning - Help maintain an organized content calendar to ensure consistency across platforms.
